"A house is made of brick and mortar, but a home is made by the people who live there." (M. K. Soni)
I believe that art in a house should speak to the soul of the people who live there, that the art should
make their heart go pitter patter when they see it; that it should light them up every time they walk in
the door!
The art is the beauty that a family wants to live with every day, to talk about, to reflect upon.
Each client is different, and each residence, be it a newly built house, a renovated one, or an apartment,
reflects the diversity of my clients.
I spend time reviewing a multitude of art images with each client in order to understand fully their tastes and
their wishes. I then set about reviewing, researching, and digging from artists to galleries, from Boston to L.A.,
to determine a plan that suits each and every room.
The art should speak to each other and be able to live together; it should not compete with the architecture or interior
design but complement the elements in ways that enhance the viewer’s experience. There is no one “look” to the
homes I have done. Each one reflects happily the personality of the owners; and each owner has expressed gleefully
how the art that we have put in has so enhanced their home!
